Meet our Instructors

Tin Pham

Tin started as a member of Cougar Dancesport at University of Houston in 2012. He served two terms of presidency on the team and took on the role of instructor after his graduation from the College of Architecture at UH in 2015. He is an active member of USADANCE, serving as the organization's collegiate ambassador. Tin also takes his competitive dancing very seriously. He is competes nationally at Championship level in both International and American styles.

Kyle Swisher & Maggie Kamholz

Kyle started as a member in 2016 and played an integral role in rebuilding club membership through his two terms of presidency from 2017-2019. Kyle took on the role of instructor after his graduation from the University of Houston College of Architecture in 2021. He currently competes nationally in Gold Latin and Novice and Pre-Championship Standard.

Maggie started as a member in 2019. Since then, she served two years of presidency and took on the role of instructor in 2023. Maggie is graduating from the College of Education in 2023 and will be attending the University of Texas Health Science Center for her Masters in Public Health. She is currently competing nationally in Gold Latin, Novice and Pre-championship Standard, and Championship Smooth.
