How do I join?
- Come to our practices and talk to any of our officers about joining and we are more than happy to help you be a part of this awesome group.

Where and when do you practice?
- We hold official practice twice a week on Friday and Sunday 5:00 P.M - 8:00 P.M, in the Multipurpose Room 1 at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.

What is membership rate?
- Everyone will get 3 first lessons for FREE. After that Membership costs are $60/person/semester. Regular lessons at local studios can cost between $20-$30/hour so you are getting a great deal at Cougar Dancesport. Check out our Membership page for more information.

Do I have to bring a partner?
- No. We encourage people to rotate to ensure everyone gets a chance to dance with someone and socialize.

What do I wear to practices?
- Comfortable athletic attire is highly recommended. If you do not have dance shoes, you can dance in socks. The rec center does not allow street high heels on the practice floor.

Are there auditions/tryouts?
- No. We welcome everyone at all levels. There will be no auditions or tryouts needed to be part of our team.

Who are your instructors?
- Please check our Coaches page for information on our regular coaches. Besides, we regularly invite internationally ranked professional instructors to give workshops.

Should I attend Friday or Sunday classes?
- We recommend you to make efforts to attend both classes to get the best out of your membership.

Am I required to compete?
- You are not required to compete. However, it is highly encouraged that you join our competition team for all the great perks it comes with. Competitions always offer the most fun experience of ballroom dancing. You will able to see other competitors from other school, make friends and watch Championship-level performances. You are guaranteed to be inspired to learn more ballroom dancing!
